Are you interested in becoming more active in the Rhode Island Bluegrass Alliance or do you know someone who is? If so, please submit your/their name and contact information for nomination for an officer position on the 2024 RIBA Board of Directors.
General duties for all officers include attending monthly board meetings and helping to organize RIBA events and activities. Duties for specific offices are:
President: serves as the Executive Officer of the organization and presides over all meetings.
Vice-President: In the absence of the President, performs the duties of the president.
Treasurer: Serves as the custodian of the funds of the organization and is responsible for full and accurate accounting records. Prepares a budget and maintains records of expenses/proceeds-income.
Secretary: Prepares board meeting agendas, and records and publishes board meeting minutes. Records notes of relevant business presented at meetings or in writing by any member.
Director: Provides overall vision and business management for the organization.
