Call for 2024 RIBA Hall of Fame nominations

As part of our mission to promote the education and appreciation of bluegrass music, we believe that we should recognize those in our southern New England music community who have contributed to the appreciation and furtherance of this music we all love so much. That's why we established the Rhode Island Bluegrass Alliance Hall of Fame in 2016.

The RIBA Hall of Fame now includes 17 inductees, including both individuals and bands. In 2023, we inducted the Neon Valley Boys band and bluegrass radio show host Amy Orlomoski and recognized their accomplishments during an award ceremony on April 30th. Many of you were there for a great night of celebration, fellowship and music.

We are seeking nominations for the 2024 RIBA Hall of Fame.

If you believe that there is an individual or band who merits this honor, please send us their name and a sentence or two about why you believe that this person or group has had a significant positive impact on our local bluegrass community. Your nominee may be still with us or may have passed on.

Please email your nomination to ribluegrass@gmail.com by December 20th.

Nominations will be forwarded to a nominating committee, which will evaluate the nominees and select this year's inductees.

Please help us to strengthen our bluegrass community by submitting the name of a deserving individual or band.

Thank you for your assistance and continued support.
