How much do tickets cost?

Tickets are $50. RIBA members receive a $10 discount off the $50 ticket price with a promo code emailed to members. At checkout, look for “Add coupon code" and enter the promo code to receive your discount. Not a RIBA member? Sign up today by going to the Join RIBA page. We'll send you the promo code after we receive your membership payment.

Are children under 18 allowed to attend?

The RIBA Bluegrass Bash is open to bluegrass fans of all ages. While you must be 18 years old or older to enter the casino floor, RIBA Bluegrass Bash is taking place in the Bally’s Lincoln Casino Resort Event Center, which can be accessed without entering the casino floor.

Is there a special ticket price for children or senior citizens?

There is only one ticket price.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are not refundable, except in the unlikely event the festival is cancelled.

Can I reserve a specific seat?

No, seating is general admission only.

Where will the event be held in the casino?

The RIBA Bluegrass Bash will be held in the Bally’s Lincoln Casino Resort Event Center, 100 Twin River Road, Lincoln, RI. The Event Center is just inside the west entrance.

Where should I park?

Park anywhere in the casino parking lot; the closest entrance to the Event Center is the west entrance. Valet parking is also available at the west entrance.

Can I leave and come back later in the day or evening?

You can leave and return during the event. You'll be given a wrist band when you arrive. If you need to leave, just show your wrist band for re-entry.

Will food be available?

There are multiple restaurants, bars, and food courts throughout Bally’s Lincoln Casino Resort.

Is lodging available?

Bally’s Lincoln Casino Resort includes a hotel. See the Bally’s website for hotel information, rates and reservations. Note: there is no room block or special rate for this event. There are also many other hotels in the area.

What is the event schedule?

Doors open at 11:00 am on March 21st. The eight-band show will run from 12:00 noon to 11:00 pm. Specific times for each band will be posted on the Line-up page . The workshop schedule will be announced later.

What workshops will be held and what is the schedule?

We are planning hands-on workshops focused on bluegrass instruments including guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, and upright bass, as well as vocals and jamming skills. The schedule will be announced later.

Will there be jamming? Can I bring my instrument?

Yes, attendees are welcome to jam in designated places. Feel free to bring your instrument!

Will there be an instrument check?

Yes, there will be a room where you can check your instrument. Neither RIBA nor Bally’s assume responsibility for instruments left in the check room.

Will there be a coat check or place to leave coats?

Coat racks will be available.
